Turbo-Seal®1961 WATER-BASED ADHESIVE is a water-based cohesive coating for candy and snack food flexible packaging applications. It is based on a blend of natural rubber latex and synthetic latex and is formulated to be low foaming on high-speed coating equipment.

APPLICATION TECHNIQUES of Turbo-Seal®1961 WATER-BASED ADHESIVE
Apply via gravure application at temperatures between 50-80°F (16-27°C). Not suitable for Flexographic application. Can be used for two-ply lamination and single layer surface printed packaging, depending upon the specific requirements of the application. Optimum performance is obtained with an application weight of 3.0-3.5 dry lbs/ream depending on the substrate and seal requirement.
Properly converted TURBO-SEALS® will have minimal blocking to suitable release films and lacquers; contact your Bostik technical representative to assist in selection of a suitable TURBO-SEAL® product and “release” system.
